What i will learn?

Upon completing the History Form Two course on Edukea, students should achieve the following outcomes:

To succeed in the History Form Two course on Edukea, students should meet the following requirements:

  • A curiosity about Africa's cultural heritage, historical events, and the origins of societies, with a readiness to engage in discussions on historical changes and their impacts.

3. Access to Learning Materials

  • Access to Form Two history textbooks, supplementary resources, and Edukea’s online study materials to aid in research and assignments.

4. Basic Reading and Comprehension Skills

  • Strong reading skills for understanding historical texts and an ability to interpret primary and secondary sources.

5. Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills

  • Ability to analyze historical events, understand cause and effect relationships, and compare different historical periods and societies.

6. Access to Technology and Internet

Description

The History Form Two course on Edukea introduces students to key historical events, figures, and developments that have shaped Tanzanian and African history. This course emphasizes understanding the social, economic, and political changes that occurred in pre-colonial and colonial times. Students will learn about the origins and migrations of African societies, the development of early trade routes, and the impact of colonialism on African communities.

Course Description

History Form Two covers significant topics such as African migrations, early trade and cultural exchanges, the rise of kingdoms and empires, and the arrival of European powers in Africa. Through studying these topics, students will develop skills in historical analysis and gain insights into how past events influence present-day Africa. The course aligns with the NECTA History syllabus, preparing students for continued studies in history and fostering an understanding of Africa’s rich cultural heritage.
