Chemistry – Learning Outcomes
By the end of the Chemistry course, students will be able to:
Understand the structure of matter including atoms, molecules, elements, and compounds.
Explain chemical reactions and the laws governing the transformation of substances.
Conduct scientific experiments safely and accurately using standard laboratory techniques.
Apply chemistry knowledge to real-life situations such as health, agriculture, industry, and environmental conservation.

Chemistry – Entry Requirements
To successfully pursue Chemistry, students are expected to meet the following minimum requirements:
Strong foundation in Science – A good background in Physics, Biology, and especially Mathematics from previous levels.
Pass in relevant subjects – At least a C grade or higher in Chemistry and Mathematics at O-Level (or equivalent).
Curiosity and interest in experiments – Chemistry involves practical laboratory work, so interest in experimentation and safety awareness is essential.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills – Ability to observe, analyze, and apply scientific principles logically.
Basic English proficiency – Since most of the scientific terms and materials are in English, comprehension is important.
